Easy, fun and inexpensive beaded earring project. You can make these in so many different colors for youth group functions, holiday crafts, school pep rallies – they are very versatile! The seed beads give them color while the metal makes this pair of earrings trendy.
You’ll need:
- 2 Ear wires
- 2 Eye pins
- Seed Beads
Tools:
- Wire cutters
- Chain nose or bent nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
Directions:
Place 18 seed beads on each eye pin in the pattern of your choice. Bend the end of the eye pin and make a loop.
Using your fingers bend the eye pins into a U shape, bringing the loops at the top of the eye pins together.
Bring the two loops together and hang them from the ear wire loop. You may have to work with the wire so that it hangs loosely. Just keep slowly working with the ‘U’ part of the wire, careful not to turn it into a ‘V’.
Teens who make this beaded earring craft will be able to make many at a time when they get going. If you need a fundraiser or something for a craft fair, these are perfect. They are also very inexpensive and can be made for girl’s jewelry parties. Enjoy!
