These wonderful wire wrapped heart earrings aren’t as hard to do as they may look. They can be made with any bead colors and you can experiment with different wires too. These can be made in any color for special occasions like Valentines day, birthdays, weddings or just someone’s favorite color.
You’ll need these supplies:
- 2 ear wires; goldtone
- 2 eyepins; goldtone
- 6 inches 21 gauge wire; cut into two 3″ pieces
- 2 – 12mm red Czech facet glass beads
You’ll need these tools:
- wire cutters; flush cutters
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose or chain nose pliers
Directions for this Tutorial:
For each earring:
1. Bead the red Czech bead on the eye pin and loop and wrap the wire.
2. With each piece of wire loop one side and wrap a tight or closed spiral with the other until the piece is 1 inch long.
3. Using your round nose pliers, bring the two looped sides together by bending in the middle.
4. Attach the wire wrapped hearts to the eyepin in the spiral.
5. Attach the piece to the earwire.
6. Repeat for the send earring.
