Beaded Necklace Instructions
This is the most versatile piece I have ever put together. I love making earrings and many have Bali beads or spacers in them.
Many times I would have to wear just plain silver with them. Now, I have a necklace that goes with each pair I own. I did take my time and collect Bali beads to go with this. The middle piece I received from one of my friends at the AOL bead swap. Anyway, I’m very happy with this choker necklace. You can make this any size you prefer. Mine is a 16″ choker.
You’ll need these supplies:
- 30 – 40 5mm silver seamless rounds
- 30 – 40 varies Bali silver beads; in pairs or 4-somes
- 1 large Bali focal bead(optional)
- 1 Bali S clasp with jumprings
- 2 – 4mm silver seamless rounds
- 2 crimping beads
- beading wire
You’ll need these tools:
- Crimping pliers
- Wire cutters
- chain nose pliers
Directions:
1.) Bead one crimp bead and one 4mm seamless round. Go through clasp’s jumpring then back through the seamless round and crimp bead. Crimp your crimp bead.
2.) Bead one 5mm seamless round then a Bali bead. Repeat until halfway around then bead your focal. Remember to use the pairs on the opposite side of the necklace(see picture). Bead until done.
3.) To end bead one crimp bead and one 4mm seamless round. Go through clasp’s jumpring then back through the seamless round and crimp bead. After pulling to get rid of excess wire, crimp your crimp bead.
Enjoy!
