This sunflower wall hanging or door decoration is beautiful, rustic, and so easy to make. The supplies are easily found in most home goods or crafts store and they are good for the family budget. While sunflower decorations have been around for a bit, I don’t see them ever going totally out of style – they are just to dang cute!

Details for the the Sunflower Wall Hanging Project
One thing I noticed when watching the video instructions is that the jute he glues on is on the plastic of the Styrofoam, great way to save supplies if you feel you may want to use them again. I would also add a hanger that goes through the larger piece of Styrofoam, from front to back. This should make it secure enough to stay on the wall or a swinging front door.

Where to Use the Sunflower Wall Hanging Project
While I love the idea of using this sunflower project on your front door, especially in the fall, I believe it may hold up better out of the elements. So, using it on an indoor doorway or as part of a decorative grouping on a wall of family photos. You can also make it in four different seasonal motifs and switch it out during the year. For instance, use colors for a Christmas poinsettia, a spring daisy and bright pink summer flower.
I hope you enjoyed today’s video project find!
