Cute ring to make for gifts – especially if you do not know the ring size of the person who is going to wear it.
You’ll need these supplies:
- Two pieces of 3-inches 20 gauge wire
- One piece of 22 gauge wire to wrap bead, about 6-inches
- On big hole bead
You’ll need these tools:
- wire cutters; flush cutters
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose or chain nose pliers
- Anvil
- Hammer
- Ring mandrel
- File
Directions for this Tutorial:
1. Hold the 20 gauge wires together so they line up.
2. Place the bead in the center of the wires and wrap on using the 22 gauge wire.
3. Cut the ends so that they are staggered.
4. Loop or curl the ends, one side should be curled up the other side curl down.
5. Place the ring on a ring mandrel and from the ring at size 6, it can be made bigger or smaller by those that are trying it on.
6. Tap on the anvil using your hammer to harden.
