Wire Wrapping Jewelry – Quartz Swirl Wire Earrings

Crackled quartz is so interesting. Wrapping it in wire is like wrapping up chaos… love it!
You’ll need these supplies:

  • 2 – colored quartz nuggets
  • 24-inches of 24 gauge wire; two 12-inch pieces
  • 10-inches of 18 gauge wire; two 5-inch pieces
  • 2 earwires

You’ll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose pliers
  • Anvil or steel plate
  • rubber hammer
  • may need a bead reamer if the holes in your pearls are too tight





Directions for this Tutorial:

1.) Create a swirl on the end of the 18-gauge copper wire. Then do some bends and make zig zags. Tap in to your inner artist.

2.) Bead the quartz nugget and loop and wrap the top.

3.) Add the ear wires. Enjoy!
