Blue Chain Drop Bead Earrings to Make

These fun earrings can be made with any pearls and crystals, the chain drop pulls each side together. There is a matching blue bead and chain necklace here.

You’ll need these supplies:

2 – pearls in blue
2 – 6mm crystals or blue glass beads; different shades of blue
chain, 3 inches; cut into 2- one and a half inch pieces
4 – headpins; gold plate
2 – ear wires; gold plate

You’ll need these tools:

wire cutters
chain nose pliers
round nose pliers

Directions:
1.) Bead each head pin with a bead and the end of a chain loop and wrap. You should have the two chain pieces with a pearl on one end and a glass bead on the other.
2.) Attach a link in the chain to a jump ring as shown in the picture, with one bead drop shorter than the other. For the first earring, make the pearl shorter, for the second, make the glass bead shorter.
3.) Make sure the drop in both earrings is about the same.
4.) Attach the jump rings to the ear wires.
