Denim Pocket Message Center Craft Project for Teens

This is such a practical craft project for teens. A message center so that you can leave messages for them. Now all you need to do is get your teen to read the messages!

You’ll need these supplies:

  • A back pocket of an old pair of jeans
  • A method to hang the center: magnets for the back, tacks, double-sided foam tape
  • Gross grain ribbon
  • Sharpie marker
  • Felt flower and gem
  • Liquid stitch
  • Post-it pad and pencil

Directions

Using the sharpie marker, write messages on the ribbon. Use the liquid stitch to adhere the ribbon and the felt flower. Once the flower is down, attach the gem. Trim the ribbon when the liquid stitch is dry.

Where you hang your denim pocket message center will tell you what type of hanger you want for it. Add a ribbon like the pocket frame if you want to hang it on a door knob, tack it to a bulletin board or you can put magnets on the back and put it on your refrigerator. Wherever you decide to put it, it will be very useful in getting the message to your teen.
