Teens enjoy making and using this fun craft. It is a great activity to do any type of hygiene class, summer camp, or just for fun! These are the type of bath salts that one places in the bath tub, unfortunately in this day and age, you may have to explain that to your youth group.
Aches and Itches Bath Salts
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup dry milk
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1 cup sea salt
Mix all ingredients together in a large Ziploc bag. It is not good to add any fragrance or color to this mixture as it may aggravate the aches and itches.
Cleopatra’s Honey Milk Bath
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup powered or whole milk
Add to bath, stir until ingredients dissolve. Soak!
Energizing Bath Salts Recipe
- 2 cup Epsom salts
- 1 cup Sea salt
- 10 drops green food coloring, 5 drops blue
- 6 drops eucalyptus oil
- 10 drops rosemary oil
- 15 drops peppermint oil
In a large bowl mix salts first, then a the other ingredients. Mix very well!
If you have a large group of teens who want to make these bath salts projects, that will work! Just set it up like an assembly line. We once got 60 teens through this craft and they loved it.
