You’ll need these supplies to make the Bleached Tie Dye Beach Towel:

  • Bleach and water
  • Squirt bottle
  • Colored towel
  • Rubber bands
  • Large bucket of water to rinse

This craft is best done outside and while wearing old clothes that you won’t care if they get bleach on them.

The first part of tie dying is the tying. Using rubber bands, take sections of the towel and tie them up. Be sure the rubber bands are on tight, but not so much that they break. Try different ways of tying with different towels, as each way of tying will result ion a different design.

Fill the squirt bottle with half water and half bleach. Squirt it on the towel in the areas where there is a rubber band. After about a minute, you’ll see the bleach working, dunk the towel in a bucket of water to rinse out the bleach. Use a separate bucket of clean water with each towel.

When finished wash and dry the towels you’ve made separately from anything else. Enjoy!
