Make a Winter Journal Teen Craft Project

Winter CraftsPaper CraftsAll Teen Craft Projects

You can make this winter craft journal for jotting down thoughts, quotes and notes all winter long.

You’ll need:

  • Small spiral notebook; mine was 3.5″ X 6″
  • White heavy duty card stock
  • Snowflake stamps
  • Stamp pads; light blue and dark blue
  • 6 1/2-inches of ribbon
  • Glitter glue or stickles
  • Tacky glue
  • Tape
  • Optional: You can use snowflake paper if you prefer not to stamp your own.

Stamp the entire piece of card stock. I used two different stamps and two different color stamp pads to make my design. Allow your teen to create their own design. Measure the front of your notebook and cut two pieces of the card stock to fit the front and the back of the notebook. Attach the ribbon so that it follows down the side of the front piece of card stock on your notebook. Tape it to the back.

Using tacky glue, attach the front piece of card stock to the front of the notebook and back piece of the card stock to the back of the notebook. Do not use too much glue as it will curl your card stock. Add glitter glue to embellish one of the snowflakes on the front of the notebook by outlining it. Allow it to dry fully before using.
