Wire Wrapping Jewelry – Lampwork and Pressed Glass Wire Bead Bracelet Project

If you are having trouble finding matching beads for a wire wrapped bracelet, look at Czech pressed glass beads. They come in many different shapes and colors. Adding their distinctiveness to your piece tends to bring out the beauty of the bracelet’s lampwork beads. I used a fluted glass bead that matched the color dot in the lampwork beads.

You’ll need these supplies:

  • 3 – 8mm fluted Czech pressed glass
  • 3 – 8-10mm lampwork rondelles
  • 6 – 4mm Bali daisy spacers
  • 12 – 20 gauge jumprings
  • 1 hook clasp and tab

You’ll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bent nose or chain nose pliers
  • may need a bead reamer if the holes in your pearls are too tight

Directions for this Tutorial:

1.) Make 3 glass bead links with the Czech beads. Be sure the loops ate big enough for two jumprings to go through.

2.) Make 3 bead links with the lampwork beads, placing a Bali daisy spacer on each side. link the links above, be sure the loops ate big enough for two jumprings to go through.

3.) Link together the Czech beads and the lampwork beads by using the jumprings. Use two jumprings together with one threaded through the other and then both through the bead link loop.

4.) Your ends should be jumprings, attach the clasp to these. Enjoy!
