These are easier than they look if you are already versed in making tight, or closed, spirals. If not, it just takes a little more practice.
You’ll need these supplies:
- copper 20 gauge wire; 2 flush cut 3 to 4-inch pieces
- 4 – 4mm Swarovski bicones
- 2 – 4mm copper beads, Heishi
- 2 ear wires with a bead
You’ll need these tools:
- Bent nose or chain nose pliers
- round nose pliers
- flush cutter
- file
Directions for this Tutorial:
1.) Make a tight spiral. When coming out of the third round, place your round nose pliers on the opposite side and go all the way around it. Do this 6 more times fitting the flower around the spiral.
2.) Coming out of loop #7, wrap the wire around loop #1 and then bend upwards at a 90 degree angle.
3.) Bead the wire, Swarovski, copper Heishi, Swarovski.
4.) Loop and wrap the top, add your earwire. Repeat for the second earring.
5.) Enjoy!
