Wire Wrapping Jewelry – Open Diamond Wire Wrapped Clasp Project

Great clasp for making wire wrapped projects that have a little flare.
You’ll need these supplies:

• 4.5-inches 20 gauge wire or thicker

You’ll need these tools:

• wire cutters; flush cutters
• Round nose pliers
• Bent nose or chain nose pliers

Directions for this Tutorial:

1.) Follow the directions to make a wire wrapped open diamond link until you get the end loop.

2.) Make a defined turn in the middle of the straight edge of your diamond shape – directly across from your connecting loop.

3.) Eye up the rest of your wire and trim. Turn the tip end of your clasp.

4.) Create your hook on your clasp using the fat part of your round nose pliers. Enjoy!
