Roasted Corn and Ghoul Tongues

Fun spooky side dish that can be made on the grill or on your stove for a ghoulishly good Halloween meal.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen corn kernels; thawed and drained
  • 2 fresh peppers; I used orange and green
  • 4 tablespoons of butter; separated

Preparation:

To make the tongues: cut peppers in length size slices and then in half. Notch the straight edges like a forked tongue. Roast them on the grill or using your stove in 2 tablespoons of butter.Roast corn separately in 2 tablespoons of butter until it is starting to brown. Mix the tongues and the corn together and serve.
