How to Make a Head Pin Out of Wire: Paddle Pin

This head pin is flattened on one end and rounded into a paddle shape. Hence the name: Paddle Pin.

You’ll need these supplies:

• 21 gauge wire

You’ll need these tools:

• wire cutters; flush cutters
• hammer
• anvil or steel plate
• wire file

Directions for this Tutorial:

For each headpin:

1. Cut wire to the desired length of the head pin.
2. Hammer the one end of the wire flat.
3. File the flatten end of the wire until it is rounded.
