How to Make a Head Pin Out of Wire: Simple Head Pin

A simple head pin that is very easy to make. Follow the directions below.
You’ll need these supplies:

  • 21 gauge wire

You’ll need these tools:

  • wire cutters; flush cutters
  • Chain or bent nose pliers
  • Wire file





Directions for this Tutorial:
For each headpin:

make a simple headpin

  • Cut wire to the desired length of the head pin.
  • Using your chain nose pliers, bend up the tip of the end of the wire.
  • Cut the bent part of the tip in half.
  • Squish the end of the tip to the wire.
