Me, me, mine! Teens like to mark their stuff as their own. This simple personalized bookmark craft will help your teen do just that.
You’ll need:
- 3-feet of satin or similar cording
- 2 large hole alphabet beads for the teen’s initials
- Directions for the Chinese Snake Knot
Fold the cord in half and place an overhand knot in the center. Add the first initial on the left-hand side of the knot. Secure with an overhand knot. Add the last initial on the right-hand side and secure with another overhand knot.
Tie five snake knots.
Leave 9-inches of cord and make 3 more snake knots. Trim the ends to 1/2 of an inch.
Variations: Use different colors of cording and beads to make other themes of this bookmark.
